When was the last time

you had a good night’s

sleep?

Anne struggled with anxiety her whole life.  She came to me exhausted and frustrated with her current sleeping patterns.  Every night the busy business manager, budding entrepreneur and mother of two would experience this heightened state of anxiety right at bedtime which prevented her from falling asleep or sleeping well.  Despite attempting different methods and modalities, this anxiety prevailed and she wanted the never ending cycle of feeling tired to end.

Anne is not alone.

Sleep is a superpower that empowers us to handle the day ahead better when we are rested.   Lack of sleep can make mountains out of mole hills, have us react way more emotionally than we planned to, and/or have our motivation go right out the window.  As if that’s not bad enough, day after tired day, opportunities pass us by because we lack the energy or clarity to make those wanted changes.

How can Hypnosis help?

Often what keeps people awake at night are unanswered problems.  Those problems can be from days, weeks or years in the past or can flip back and forth into worry for the future.  Our mind keeps circling around the problems hoping to find an answer to make it stop.   Where do you turn when the attempts to drown out the thoughts with medications, meditation, melatonin, relaxation techniques or tricks of the trade don’t work?

Here’s the good news.  Hypnosis helps countless people to sleep better because it is much more powerful than anything you have ever tried or heard of before.

So why can’t I just fix it on my own?

The issue lies behind what is running the hamster wheel of thought; your subconscious mind.  Unfortunately, the subconscious mind may have all the answers but your conscious mind is running the nightly show.  The conscious mind is very limited and controls our ability to focus and concentrate.  Since the conscious mind can only focus on an average of 7 things at a time it cannot see the big picture. This limiting view will only present a select few options and those options are rooted in misconceptions of the situation or our personal power. Those limiting thoughts keep us stuck and frustrated on this circular train of thought.  In order for there to be change, different options need to be offered and accessing the subconscious mind will accomplish that.

Einstein said it best,  “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”  No wonder we can go round and round on an issue and not solve it.

Hypnosis can help the hamster wheel of thought stop with new insights that reframe those misconceptions regarding yourself and your options.  Your subconscious mind then utilizes this new inspired clarity to present personalized, accepted solutions and dissipates those old inaccurate programs.

Zzzzzzzz

Anne came to me sometime after her session bubbling with excitement for she couldn’t wait to tell me how her life had changed!  Now, for the first time in her life, she had been truly worry free!  She didn’t experience anxiety like she used to.  She was sleeping better and performance at work also improved because there was nothing to really fret about anymore.  She found that what she thought were things to legitimately worry about weren’t, and that what was thought was the source of her issues wasn’t. The need to micromanage every small detail was also gone, which her family greatly appreciated.  She felt that now she could really be in the moment and enjoy her life again.

What really surprised her was the unexpected bonus she received from her time in Hypnosis.  Prior to our time together, she daily drank a concerning amount of the soda pop Coca Cola.   Because she didn’t realize that her consumption had anything to do with her anxiety, she didn’t mention it.  As the anxiety decreased so did the desire to drink the soda. At the end of the week, she found she drank a fraction of the amount (which also didn’t taste the same) and didn’t even have to think about it.

Freedom comes in many forms, let hypnosis help you discover yours.
